College and Life Insurance from a Yuba City Life Insurance Agency
As anyone who is contemplating college, currently attending college, or putting someone through college knows, higher education is expensive. In fact, it has been reported that since the early 1980s the cost of a college education at a four-year public institution has increased by 250 percent. It’s safe to say that the average parent’s wages haven’t increased by anything close to that!
While Yuba City insurance is something that many people assume you only need to look into after you start your career, the truth is it can play an important role while a person is still in school. Why? Well, refer back to those numbers above and you may start to understand that it’s critical both for parents and students to have life insurance policies.
Ensuring College will be Covered
There was a time when parents tended to pay for all of their child’s college expenses. Given the astronomical increase in tuition and other fees, it’s more common today that parents handle only part of the bill. Even so, it’s important that that portion is covered so that the child can complete their course of study. Read more from this blog http://bit.ly/2n579T2

Yuba City Life Insurance Agency on 4 Myths and Realities of Insurance
In a perfect world, adult life would follow a very predictable pattern from from the start of career employment through retirement. That would make it much easier to make financial decisions. But as we discuss with clients at our Yuba City life insurance agency, that isn’t always the case. In fact, the ideal life trajectory that we often have in our minds—career, marriage, buying a home, having children, etc.—rarely works out precisely that way.
Rather than making decisions based on this presumed life path, we encourage people to make a frank assessment of the myths versus the realities. Read more from this blog: http://bit.ly/2pUJ4Nu

Yuba City Life Insurance Agency Talks Medicare Supplement Insurance
Medicare is a supplemental insurance program that provides health insurance for Americans 65 and older. It has been administered by the federal government since 1966. The program utilizes 30-50 private insurance companies throughout the U.S.
Medicare is funded by a number of sources including premiums, a payroll tax and surtaxes from beneficiaries, and general revenue. Enrollees have roughly half of their healthcare costs covered on average. The program also covers some people under age 65 who have certain disabilities or end stage renal disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Medigap is a medical supplement insurance policy that can cover expenses not covered by Medicare. This can include deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance costs. In order to have Medigap, you must already be enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B. Read more from this blog: http://bit.ly/2kJmsPv

Yuba City Life Insurance Agency Explains Policy Ownership
With a life insurance policy, the focus is often on the insured (the
person whose life is covered by the policy) and the beneficiary (the
person who receives money if the insured dies while the policy is in
force). The third role associated with life insurance is that of the
policy owner also called the policyholder. As we tell people at our Yuba City life insurance agency, if you are considering buying a policy, it is important to understand your role as the owner.
Ownership Rules
There are very few restrictions around owning a life insurance policy. Any adult or legal entity can have life insurance on another person. The only requirements are that there is what’s called an insurable interest (meaning the death of the insured would negatively impact the other party) and mutual consent. The most common life insurance scenario involves one spouse having life insurance on the other, so that the surviving spouse won’t suffer financial hardship if their partner dies.

There are a number of reasons why getting a life insurance policy while you are young, single, and childless makes sense. They include:
It’s more affordable. The cost of a life insurance policy is based, in part, on your age and health. The younger and healthier you are, the less it costs. So “getting in on the ground floor” can help you save money over the life of the policy. Read more on this article:
